Restored bench from Central Park, NY

This bench came from Central Park, New York. My guess is that was built in the late 1800s because there are no welds and the upper and lower frames are connected with decorative poured babbitt collars to connect them. I had to finish dismantling it, sandblast, and bronze powder coat the frame work.  I then took it to my friend's wood shop for new custom dressed white oak boards. He had to use dried saw mill cut lumber and plane it to the proper thickness. The extra thick boards weren't available at any lumber supply.  The boards were stained and sealed, and were bolted in with bronze carriage bolts to add character to this very old unique piece.
